These records consist of correspondence, war diaries, section & Routine Orders at Sea, memoranda, orders, battle instruction, training and instructional papers, maps, aerial photographs, booklets, and miscellaneous paper, and are a personal records collection of the Rt Hon Richard Gardiner CASEY Baron of Berwick, Victoria, KG, GCMG, PC, CH, DSO, MC. The material relates to the time Lord Casey spent as a member of the A.I.F. during World War I; he enlisted in the A.I.F. on 14 September 1914 and was demobilised with effect from 10 June 1919.
