My grandmother, Violet Vandenbergh, was born in 1919. Her sister Nellie was born in 1914. In between, their father Charles went to war. This assorted collection of people are members of the extended family of my grandmother. On her father's side there are the Vandenberghs: her father Charles William, uncles Reg and Alf, and her father's cousins Charles Stanley, Walter Cecil and Bert. One Hundt: her grandmother's youngest brother Frank. And one Murray: Thomas, the one-time husband of her Auntie Tottie (Charlotte). On her mother's side are the Dines: her uncle Charles Stuart, and her mother's cousins Charles Edward, Henry George and William Charles.
