    William Nimmo Kidd was part of the the 3rd reinforcements for the 26th Bn. He served on Gallipoli and during the attack on Pozieres that started 9:15 pm, 4 Aug 1916, he suffered a GSW to the back. He was in B Coy. He was evacuated to 3CCS but died from his wounds on 8 Aug 1916 and was buried by the Rev A H Broughton at Puchevillers
