    Thomas and Rebecca MILLER migrated to South Australia from Hungerford in England on the "SS Fairlie" in 1840 http://www.hungerfordvirtualmuseum.co.uk/People/Family_History/Miller_Family/miller_family.html Thomas and Rebecca had 11 children, with the eldest Thomas (1st son), fifth Charles (5th son), seventh Samuel (7th son) and eight George (8th son) having descendants who fought in WW1 .. Thomas and Rebecca's eldest son Thomas (Jnr), and his wife Catherine, eldest child Eliza married Benjamin POTTER ... Eliza and Benjamin's sons Thomas James Albert (Biz), Edward Wilfred (Wilf) and Frances Hurtle Constable (Hurtle) were killed in action at/near Mouquet Farm, France on 3-Sep-1916 ... Eliza and Benjamin's son Victor Ralph (Ralph) was injured in the legs on 29-Mar-1916 and he saw one brother killed at/near Mouquet Farm, France on 3-Sep-1916. Ralph was later discharged on compassionate grounds, being the only surviving, unmarried son ... Eliza and Benjamin's had two married sons and two daughters who remained in South Australia .. Thomas and Rebecca's fifth son Charles married Catherine LEWIS ... Charles and Catherine's youngest son Harold Giles Montgomery was killed in Port Pirie, on the day of his discharge 6-Nov-1919, and the discharge was cancelled ...
