Albert and Logan News 5 May 2004 p.9 My family and I live in Whitby, England. This morning we went for a walk along the coast and through some woods, ending at Lythe Church, three miles away. There by chance, we found a single war grave, commemorating an Australian serviceman, the details of which are: Phipps, Russell Constantine Charles, service number 26278, Australian Field Artillery, Died December 6, 1916, enlisted Upper Logan, Queensland. We had stumbled upon the grave on Anzac Day. Michael Wray, Whitby.
