Enlisted 29/12/1915, saw service in France, discharged 29/11/1917. Took a soldier settlement in the Hall district, called Crowajingalong, which took in north Dunlop. Although the great depression led many of the settlers to despair, Frank held on with a reduction in rent by the Territory administration. He retired in 1956 and died in Canberra in 1973, aged 85 years. see Hall Answered the call, by G A Mawer, Friends of Hall School Museum, Anzac Centenary Exhibition.
